MLCS 1/2" Key Hole Router Bits creates a keyhole slot that allows a picture or other object to be hung securely on a wall using a screw or nail.

Features:

• The bit has a narrow stem and a wider circular straight cutting edge.
• Plunging the bit creates a round hole and moving the router creates a t-slot which will accept the head of a nail or screw.
• Used for hanging pictures, plaques, clocks, brackets, etc. flush to the wall without additional hardware.
• Plunging the bit produces 1/2" hole and moving the router creates a T-slot which will accept the head of a screw or nail.
• 2 flute, carbide-tipped router bits.

Helpful Hint:

• For hanging smaller items when only one fastener is required, route the slot horizontally. This will allow you to shift the picture sideways until perfect balance is achieved.
